Books & Beats created Building Buddies to support children’s growth in literacy, character, and social skills. Through animated trucks, kids learn life lessons tied to core values like Courage, Discipline, Humility, Dependability, Loyalty, Generosity, Strength, and Friendliness.

Why Rhymes as Rhythms?

Books & Beats uses rhythm to build literacy. Rhymes enhance phonological awareness, memory, and auditory processing—key for decoding words and recognizing sounds. Rhythm also improves fluency, comprehension, and engagement by modeling pacing and expression. Because rhythm and language share brain pathways, rhythmic learning directly strengthens reading skills while supporting diverse learners.
